Rockingham Junior and Infant School joined Willow Tree Academy in 2018. The Academy was born out of the aspiration that all children should have the same entitlement to the profound primary educational experience they deserve. We ensure all our children are safe from harm and build the emotional resilience, values, skills and knowledge that they need to go on to lead happy and fulfilling lives. We are proud to tell you that our relentless work to ensure an outstanding provision at Rockingham means we are officially a good school!
Rockingham Junior and Infant school is built around a strong, committed community of pupils, parents and staff who have a shared vision which is ambitious and inclusive for all. Rockingham Junior School has 313 children on roll including our 2 and 3 year olds.It is a one and half form entry with roughly 45 pupils in each year group, aged from 2 to 11 years old.
As a school we are committed to the principles of inclusion and equality of education and opportunities for all. Each year the school goes from strength to strength with the belief that every day is special and no time can be wasted in the pursuit of excellence.
