Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 2)
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
It is essential that you possess the following:-
Experience in class supervision/PPA/CPD cover
Previous experience in leading a team
Within an agreed system of supervision, plan challenging teaching and learning objectives to evaluate and adjust lessons / work plans as appropriate across the primary curriculum.
Have sound knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities
Be enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills
Be able to forge excellent relationships with staff and children and maintain a good sense of humour at all times!

Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant - 27.5 hours
(Initially temporary with a view to being permanent in July 2020 for the right candidate)
Required from 4th November 2019
Rockingham Junior and Infant school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated learning support assistant to work 27.5 hours per week, term time only, based in KS1.
The post involves working across all age ranges, supporting children in their learning, small group work and some cover supervision.
We are looking for someone who:
An up-to-date Level 3 qualification is essential
Previous experience in KS1 is desirable
Ideally have experience of delivering phonics interventions
Is an organised person and has good time management skills
Strong Behaviour Management Skills.
Has a calm temperament along with the enthusiasm and energy to work tirelessly supporting pupils
Has good literacy and numeracy skills.
Has a willingness to be fully involved in the life of the school.
Can be a positive, caring team member.
